If you want to subscribe to our print edition send a check for $20 for 12 issues (one year) or $30 for 24 issues to the address above.

Dear NCCU Alumni:

Thank you for visiting the Campus Echo Online. We hope you like what you see.

When we first brainstormed our dream of creating an online edition, you, the NCCU alumni, were foremost in our minds. We accepted the challenge of creating an online edition not only because we wanted to train ourselves in this new and exciting form of communication but also because we wanted you to be able to keep abreast of your alma mater.

The Campus Echo Online is the product of many hours of hard work. In 2000--our first year online--we were named best HBCU Online Student Newspaper by the Black College Communication Association. We have won that award five years in a row. We have received tremendous support from the Department of English, which houses the NCCU communication concentration, and from the Office of Student Affairs, which has supported us in more ways than we can count.

Now we are asking for your support. Getting the print edition converted into the online edition is a very time consuming process. As you know, our students are struggling to complete their studies while holding down jobs. With your contributions we can fund student stipends that enable our online editors to spend less time at their outside jobs and more time working on the Campus Echo Online.

So please consider helping us out. Think about "subscribing" to the Campus Echo Online. Each year we publish 12 issues of the Campus Echo. Would you consider contributing $1-$2 per issue? This would translate into an $12 to $24 contribution each year.

Of course, even if you are unable to contribute at this time, we do hope that you will continue to look in on us and be proud of the NCCU Campus Echo. Also, don't forget to sign up for our free e-mail notification service.
